Why Partner with a Google Premier Partner

When it comes to managing your digital advertising, there are a few options. You can either do it yourself, hire a freelancer, or hire just any agency. We would never recommend any of those options. Using a Google Premier Partner agency is your best bet.

You may think we are biased, as we ourselves are a Google Premier Partner agency, but that’s not why. Let’s look at why it should be your only choice when it comes to hiring an agency to manage your digital advertising.

What is the Google Partners Program

The program is for marketing agencies looking to build trust and authority with their clients. The program is free to join though it takes a lot of work on the agency’s part to earn the badge and are able to display it on their website and marketing materials.

Differences between Google Partner vs. Google Premier Partner

Other than the requirements which are listed below, the badges slightly differ visually as shown:

The following are the specific requirements by Google to earn the Partner or Premier Partner badge.

Agencies can earn the following specializations:

Search
Display
Shopping
Mobile
Video

Dynamic badges (as seen above) are generally used with online properties (i.e. the agency website). The agency’s specializations appear as an animated pop-up when a user hovers over the top right 3 dots of the badge and each specialization has its own icon.

Static badges (as seen below) are generally used for printed marketing materials (i.e. business cards, flyers, etc.), the specializations are listed below the badge as icons and text. Though these types of badges can also be used for online properties too.

3 Reasons to Work with a Google Premier Partner

Work with Experts

When you work with a Premier Partner, you can rest assured you are working with experts. The agency analysts have not only passed the Google certification tests in their areas of specialization (trust me, which isn’t easy), they must also have real-world experience meeting Google’s minimum ad spent requirements.

Proven Real World Results

With all the requirements to keep the Google Premier Partner status active, a partner must consistently drive revenue and leads for their clients. You can be confident that you’re working with an agency that is a Google-certified partner who has to maintain a level of success to remain a part of the program and has a consistent track record for their clients.

Better Access to Google Support

Another key advantage is the agency’s access to Google. When managing campaigns and running into issues, trying to get timely support from Google yourself can be difficult. Google Premier Partners have a direct line to a highly qualified Google rep that will help them resolve any issues as quickly as possible. When it comes to digital advertising, wasted time can cost you a lot of money.

Who should I partner with: Google Partner or Google Premier Partner?

In general, Google Premier Partner’s will drive better, higher converting campaigns for your business as they have managed higher ad spends and greater performance requirements than Google Partners.

Whether just a Partner or Premier Partner, be cautious about overzealous claims or “insider Google” algorithm claims. No agency, not even Premier Partners can know that information. However, using their best practices, strategies, and experience, with a Google Premier Partner, you can be confident they will give you a much better chance of growing your business, providing you excellent service, and knowing the ins and outs of Google Advertising.

How to Add Your Payment Method in Facebook Business Manager

There are times when you need to update your billing details or payment method to keep your Facebook Ads running. Unfortunately, most people are not familiar with the Facebook Business Manager or have even been on the ads manager platform before. In this article, we are going to give you an overview of how to set up your Facebook payment method and update it if you need it in the future.

Setting Up Facebook Payment Method: An Overview

To get started, we need to understand that payment methods are required to create and run ads on Facebook. If you are not familiar with the platform, you may want to go through a quick reading about it on Facebook Business Manager here

Completing the initial setup for payment methods is the first step that is mandatory to be done before creating ad accounts, assigning payment methods, and lines of credit to the other Business Managers such as agencies.

Add a Facebook Payment Method in Facebook Business Manager

Facebook provides you with a variety of payment methods you can choose to run Facebook Ads. Before you get started, you have to make sure that you are the ad account admin because if you are not, you may encounter an error when you are trying to add a payment method.

It is requested to add a payment method before you can publish any ads. To add a payment method in your Facebook Business Manager follow these simple steps below:

Step 1

Log in into your Facebook Ads account through https://business.facebook.com/

Step 2

Fill in the credentials information and then click “Login”

Step 3

Click the grid menu icon on the top left of your screen for accessing “Business Tools”

Step 4

Select “Billing”

Step 5

On the Billing page, click “Payment Settings”

Step 6

Once you are on the “Payment Settings” screen, hover to the “Payment Method” section and click “Add Payment Method”

Step 7

Enter your payment information and then click “Continue”

Keep in mind that if your ad account is set up for manual payment, you won’t be able to add any payment method using these steps. You will need to add money to your ad account using the manual payment method. In case you have more than one payment method in your ad account, you can set a primary payment method. Facebook will charge your primary payment method first when you make a payment for your Facebook ads.

I am not adding anything, I just need to update my payment method. How can I do that?

You can update or change the payment methods you have with the similar steps you have read above. Just click “Edit” next to the payment method you want to change or update and then click “Save” once you are done.

How to Update Your Google Ads Billing Details or Payment Method

Sometimes, billing within Google Ads can be somewhat complicated and confusing for some people who are not familiar with Google Ads interface. In this article, we’ll walk through some of the Google Ads billing options available, from setting up a payment method to updating the billing details.

Add or Update a Payment Method in Google Ads Billing

Note: If your card issuer or bank is within the European Economic Area, they may require you to go through an extra verification handle, such as a one-time code sent to your phone, to confirm the ownership of your card. Your card issuer or bank may require this additional confirmation once you make a payment, add a new credit or debit card, or at the card issuer or bank’s discretion.

To add or update a payment method in Google Ads, here are the simple steps to guide you:

Step 1

Sign in to your Google Ads account.

Step 2

Click Settings & Billing, and then under “Billing,” click Settings.

Step 3

Click Payment methods from the left menu.

Step 4

Click Add payment method.

Step 5

The payment methods available to you will appear. These are based on your business address, your account’s currency, your payment setting, and whether any payment methods are temporarily unavailable for your account.

Step 6

Enter your payment method information and agree to the Google Ads Terms and Conditions.

Step 7

If you want to make this your primary payment method, make sure the box is checked next to Set this payment method as primary.

Step 8

Click Save.

You can update or change the payment methods you have with the similar step you have read above. Within the “Settings & billing” section of your account, you can view and update your card information and payment profile details. Just click “Edit” next to the payment method you want to change or update and then click “Update” once you are done.

To change how you pay (for example, from automatic to manual payments), please contact Google Ads Support. Available payment settings vary depending on your country. Learn more about payment settings

Also note that when switching from automatic to manual payments, Google Ads Support will inform you of any additional requirements including any outstanding payments.
